How to find the model number of your Cub Cadet Machine

Being a Cub Cadet servicing dealer, we often have customers looking for maintenance items or repair parts for their machines. In order to accurately provide customers with parts & pricing, we require the Cub Cadet factory number. While many machines are labeled with identifying product names (such as 3X30HD snowthrower or XT2 LX42 Lawn Tractor), the specific factory production number is most helpful to ensure that we find the right parts & product information for you. Here's some information on where you can find your model number.

Cub Cadet's current (1997 and later) model and serial numbers are generally 11 characters in length. A character could be a number, dash or a letter. If 0 represented all numbers and/or dashes and X represented all letters, the model and serial numbers should appear as follows: 00XX000X000.

These are made of both letters and numbers, and typically look like this: 11AA111A111.
